I've been getting some e-mails wondering where exactly we all are, and there's quite a few answers/excuses that I had prepared for you all, but let's just go with the short answer.

For the most part I run this site all on my lonesome with help from some very gifted writers and photographers. In essence what has been going on is that I have been starting some new ventures that are involved with my day job and other sources of income, and because of that have had little to no time to put into this site. That is going to change here very shortly, but the over all operation of the site is going to change.

Outside of concert photography I also shoot product on a full time basis and do work on the side from that as an event (basically meaning I'll take photos of anything) photographer. This has managed to squeeze out a lot of the free time I have for my greatest passion, the local music scene.

I am in the process of developing a new site that will serve more as a blog for my work in a whole. Not just concert photography and reviews, although that will still have a large part to do with it and I will keep the domain name of LiveMusicPDX.com for my concert photos.

In the mean time I do have some reviews that I will be putting up, and I'll keep you all up to date on how that is going through e-mail and Myspace as usual. Please do keep the CD's coming as well as I am working again on reviewing albums that come in and plan on publishing a review weekly. The next review to keep your eyes open for will be the newest album from the Decemberists, an album that I have been very excited to share my thoughts on.
